All owners and their direct descendants can fish for free at Lake Rotoaira, however you must obtain and carry a Mana Whenua Fishing Licence at all times.

To secure a Mana Whenua Licence, please contact our Kaitiaki Ranger directly, at ranger@lakerotoaira.com or on 027 4433 066.

Some things to note:

• You do not need to carry a Lake Taupō fishing licence when you fish at Lake Rotoaira.
• The lake is open from September to June each year.
